On September 11, 2019, it was announced that Zhejiang Satellite Petrochemical Co., Ltd. has successfully operated HoneywellUOP's C3 Oleflex technology to produce polymer-grade propylene on its new petrochemical joint plant in Pinghu City, Zhejiang Province. The plant has an annual output of up to 450,000 tons. This is the second C3 Oleflex plant built by Honeywell in cooperation with Zhejiang Satellite Petrochemical. HoneywellUOP, a leading technology supplier to the oil and gas industry, delivered the first Oleflex unit to Zhejiang Satellite Petrochemical in 2014.
