UltraRAE is a handheld PID detector specifically designed for special organic gas detection in hazardous environments. It uses a photoionization detector (PID) with a 9.8eV, 10.6eV, or 11.7eV gas discharge lamp to separate the components to be measured in combination with a unique RAE-SEP gas separator tube for more targeted detection, or as a specialized separator tube for total volatile organic compounds (TVOC) as a broad-spectrum VOC detector.
