The Dräger X-am 7000 detects up to 5 gases continuously when available. More than 30 different combinations of sensors provide flexible solutions for your inspection tasks. The instrument can be configured with 3 electrochemical sensors and 2 catalytic combustion sensors or infrared sensors.
Flexible and versatile sensors
Dräger has more than 30 sensors that detect more than 100 gases and vapors. For some sensors, the gas to be measured can be selected via the gas list in the menu without having to re-formulate it. This design can increase the variety of gases to be measured and improve the accuracy of measurement. Dräger sensors are known for their fast response times, low cross-sensitivity, high accuracy and long life.
Smart plug-and-play sensor
The instrument automatically identifies each sensor. All sensors are pre-calibrated, and the X-am 7000 can be reconfigured by simply replacing the sensors. No additional maintenance and service required.
Intuitive software features
Dräger X-am 7000 software is user-friendly and easy to operate. With just basic training, operators can master its powerful functions, such as quickly viewing or turning on TWA and STEL values, as well as peak record keeping.
Durable and waterproof
The Dräger X-am 7000 has a built-in waterproof and dustproof protective film with Ingress protection up to IP67, which can be submerged in water for a period of time without any damage. There is also a specially designed leather case to protect the instrument from damage even if it is dropped from a height of 1.5 meters.
Leak detection function
The Dräger X-am 7000 can perform leak detection functions. For Falan, overhaul machines and valves, etc., a new flexible gooseneck probe can detect leaks. In tracking mode, the instrument emits an intensified or weakened chirp depending on the detected gas concentration change.
Long service life
The newly designed rechargeable battery with built-in charge management module ensures that the instrument can operate for 20 hours (depending on the battery model). Alkaline battery compartments are also available. The Dräger X-am 7000 can be configured with Dräger sensors with a lifetime of up to 5 years. If a configuration change is required, the instrument can be done in simple steps.
A variety of alarm styles
Users cannot ignore the alarm, the audible alarm is loud, and the light alarm can be seen within 360O. The Dräger X-am 7000 sends a vital signal every 6 seconds to indicate that all functions of the instrument are in order.
Quickly view information
The large character display and the automatic focus function of the alarm make the displayed values and signs easy to recognize, and it is possible to immediately determine whether the working environment is dangerous. All information has simple text prompts.
Data management
The built-in data memory can store 3,000 sets of data – for example, one set of data per minute, for 50 hours. With an infrared interface and GasVision software, data can be transferred to a computer and counted.
Powerful built-in pump
The powerful built-in pump has a sampling distance of 45 meters. The instrument continuously monitors the pump's operation and alerts when the pump flow is low.
