The Sensepoint XCDmethanegas detector is an instrument that is stationarily installed in the presence of methane gas to detect the concentration of methane in the air.
Combining all the strengths of gas detection technology, the XCD gas detector is an upgrade to the widely used fixedmethanegas detector that is far more cost-effective than its existing counterparts.
The sensor and other core components of the Sensepoint XCD use a number of non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technologies to make detection more accurate and better for long-term messiness. The XCD unified housing combines catalytic combustion, electrochemical and NDIR sensors to enable a wider range of gases to be measured. Therefore, XCD is widely used in general industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, and manufacturing, and also performs well in some harsh environments.
Sensepoint XCD has automatic status alerts, especially the use of a three-color backlight, which clearly shows its operating status at long intervals:
• When there is no alarm and it is working properly, the backlight is green
• When a fault occurs, the backlight is yellow
• When an alarm is generated, the backlight is red
