Product Description:
The measuring range of the Dräger Polytron IR can be set: The measuring range for typical applications is 0 to 100 % LEL, while the leak or workplace limit monitor can establish measurement tasks ranging from 0 to 20 % LEL or 0 to 5% or even the order of ppm (independent of gas). With the Polytron IR 334, methane with a maximum volume ratio of 100% can be detected. It can be easily configured using a HART® handheld device or computer via menu guidance.
User-friendly calibration function interface
Polytron IR is calibrated using standard test gases and is user-friendly: the required test gas, such as methane or propane, can be selected directly from the 38 substances in the transmitter comprehensive gas library. A test gas different from the substance can be selected as the test gas. Calibration of the substance to be tested and automatic calculation of sensitivity parameters – performance is certified.
