The Midas®' compact form factor and easy-to-inspect metal body design make it easy to install in dense, day-to-day complex process environments or space-critical environments. The Midas® comes with a scale of built-in selectable power and communication modes, including 3 built-in relays, 0-22mA analog outputs, Modbus/TCP Ethernet digital outputs, and the new Power over Ethernet (PoE) protocol—a single Ethernet connection for all power, control, and communication devices. The Midas® architecture significantly reduces the cost of PLC and FieldBus system integration.
Midas® is used for the detection of toxic gas, ambient gas, and flammable gas in typical industrial environments through the transmitter platform. Pre-calibrated "plug and play" smart sensors allow for quick and easy sensor replacement without tools and prevent misuse or discarded sensor errors by operators. High-brightness LEDs as well as intuitive graphs display gas readings and alarm levels when displaying interactive menus (combined with password-protected menus for parameterization, detection and calibration).
